The Tryout Process

Our tryout process will take place throughout April and May to ensure that each player has the best team placement based on multiple considerations for their long-term and short-term developments. Our professional technical staff will look for players competitive levels, social awareness, and starting ability within the sport. Our goal of tryouts is to put each player in the best position to improve the following season. Enjoyment is our main principle towards development, so we look to place players where they are challenged competitively, yet not scared of interacting with their team mates and the game. This process has been tested by time and has seen players start in recreational programs before ending their soccer journey at the top of national platforms. 

Internal Placements

If your player is currently NOT playing with another club within Colordo Soccer Association, they are more than welcome to join our existing players during our Internal Placement process. This will allow players to have a first interaction ahead of our tryouts in May and get them accustomed to our staff and their peers. Click Here for More Information and Timetables.

Tryouts

Our tryouts process begins in May, and is open to any player of any background from any club. Tryouts aim to place players in the best environment for the 2026/27 Fall season. Our professional staff will evaluate players for two nights as to see where they best fit in amongst existing membership. Our aim is to not cut players, as our trusted pathway has a spot for everyone at their current level, and we as a club believe in developing anyone interested enough to put forth the effort to improve via our values to sustain continued growth.
